Timna Tomiša is young and aspiring Croatian photographer, soon to be a regular student at the highly acclaimed Dutch Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Gerrit Rietveld Academy is known for encouraging it’s students to experiment and explore. Whitch is exactly the way Timna likes to work and to create. That’s how she did this beautiful and magical photos that got her admission to respectful Academy.
Timna made an extraordinary accessoire for the shooting directly inspired by Nocturne in Black and Gold – The Falling Rocket – an painting by James Abbott McNeill Whistler, which is considered the pinnacle of his work and one of the first modern painting in general. Accessoire is a stunning LED bracelet that went so well with ROBA pieces and sligtly dystopian shooting locations. Bravo, bravo Timna! ROBA is so proud of her succes and really happy for supporting the obvious talent.
Timna Tomiša has passion for fashion photography and admires works by peculiar and appreciated photographers: Tim Walker, Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel and Patrick Demarchelier. Due to her talent, refreshing enthusiasm and commitment characterizing her approach to work and education in such seminally school, we believe that Timna’s gonna daze us regulary with interesting and inovative works.

Spring at it’s best, one can oh so overwhelmingly smell the summer!
Considering the sun factor, one can not forget the best accessoire for the ocasion – sunnies, lunettes, sunglasses or simply S by Sheriff&Cherry!
S by Sherrif&Cherry is another successful collaboration between our dear friend and exquisite designer Mauro Massarotto and Ghetaldus, ex Yugoslavian manufacturer of great lunettes. By collaborating with Mauro and recently with him and another talented Croatian designer A’Marie (Ghetaldus Vintage), Ghetaldus is in the hotspot again.
Here we have a set of colorfull pictures made in India by Australian creative director Mark Vassallo and photographer Kane Skennar.
Most of the models pictured here can be purchased in Zagreb’s ROBA Store, Preradoviceva 30.

The Canyons, a sexual thriller by Paul Schrader and Bret Easton Ellis is on the way!
Director Paul Schrader (Cat People, Mischima: A Life in Four Chapters) and writer Bret Easton Ellis (Less Than Zero, American Psycho, Glamorama) are going to shoot The Canyons, an original Ellis script about youth, glamour, sex and Los Angeles. Casting is rolling while we’re typing this. The film is looking for four leads, two men and two women, Ellis has cautioned that the leads have to act and be full frontal naked banging girls and guys realistically and, for the part of Christian, the lead, he would ideally cast porn star James Deen. Shooting on The Canyons will take place from July 9-31. LA.

Two brilliant and successful designers: Anamarija Brkić /A’Marie/ and Mauro Massarotto /Sheriff and Cherry/ did a marvelous job reinterpreting all the iconic models of Ghetaldus sunnies from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Ghetaldus Vintage collection counts 10 models in different types of shades and colours. NOTE: models are handmade and coloured, with mostly organic lenses. Prices are moderate: 400-450 kn (55-60 euro). Collection presentation will be today 8PM at the most beautiful town park – Zrinjevac. There will be a pop up store with all the models at the display /limited quantity/. If you’re not able to come, just go to www.ghetaldusvintage.com and do the job.
